Applications are now open for the third intake of IEID Academy's industrial skills programme - one thousand fully funded places across mechatronics, precision welding, industrial electrical work and renewable energy systems.
Every graduate receives a guaranteed interview with a park tenant, a model that saw the previous cohort achieve employment offers for more than eighty percent of completers before graduation day.
"We do not train people and hope jobs appear," says the Academy's Programmes Lead. "Curricula are co-designed with the manufacturers who will hire, taught on the equipment they actually run, and timed to their hiring cycles."
Women make up half of this cohort's target enrolment, supported by dedicated mentorship circles and flexible scheduling developed from lessons learned in cohorts one and two.
Applications close at the end of next month. Selection prioritises residents of host communities, with remaining places open nationwide.
“Creating places where Industry, Innovation, Communities and Sustainability thrive together.”
